I would be grateful for help with any of the following matters.

Type locality for Francolinus pictus watsoni Legge,1880,Birds Ceylon,3,p.745.
Does anyone have access to a copy of Legge,1880?

also for Francolinus kirki Hartlaub,1867,Proc.Zool.Soc.London,p.827.

shelleyi shelleyi.

Date and type locality for Francolins shelleyi sequestris Clancey,Durban
Mus.Novit.,6(2),p.13, a synonym for S.s.shelleyi

Type locality for Francolinus cruzi
Themido,1937,Compt.Rend.Internat.Congr.Zool.,12,p.1833.a synonym for
Pternistis swierstrai.

Any information on Francolinus jacksonae patriciae a synnym for Pternistis
jacksoni.

Publication and locality details for Francolinus afer loangwae Grant &
Mackworth-Praed,1934, a synonym for Pternistis afer melanogaster.

Publication and type locality details for Pternistis nudicollis Gunning &
Roberts. This may well be able to be found in the paper by Gunning &
Roberts,1911,Ann.Transv.Mus.,3,p.110, in which they put forward Pternistes
castaneiventer as a new name for P.nudicollis,Not of Boddaert.
Does anyone have access to that issue of Ann Transv.Mus.?

Any information about Francolinus afer notatus a synonym for Pternistis afer
castaneiventer.

than Catalogue of Birds of the British Museum and (to some extent)
Hartert,Vog.Pal.Fauna?
