RESEARCH LOCATION: Mixed Prairie, Northwestern Oklahoma
DUTIES: The awardee will pursue an M.S. Agronomy (specialization in
Rangeland Ecology and Management) and conduct research on an
interdisciplinary study of the relationship between landscape
patterns, land use, and avian communities. Specific responsibility
will be to investigate source-sink dynamics and nesting success in
avian communities in a western Great Plains mixed-prairie environment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA with an undergraduate
major in rangeland ecology or management, wildlife management,
biology, or a related area.
ANNUAL SALARY: $12,480
