New birds seen since the last update include LEAST TERN, AMERICAN =
OYSTERCATCHER, and PIPING PLOVER IN HARRISON COUNTY and INDIGO BUNTING =
in Forrest County.

Nancy Madden reported seeing a PIPING PLOVER, LEAST TERN, and AMERICAN =
OYSTERCATCHER in the vicinity of Moses Pier in Gulfport.=20
***** Jackson County ***********
While attending the Crane festival in Gautier on Saturday, David Campich =
reported first hearing and then seeing 2 BROADWINGED HAWKS soaring =
overhead. They appeared to be heading north.
***** Forrest County ************
Ron Blackwell reports a male INDIGO BUNTING coming to his feeders in =
Hattiesburg last Friday.

***** Hancock County ***********
Several people have seen Swallow-tailed kites at Spence's Woods in =
western Hancock County for two weekends now. Warblers that are being =
seen there include Northern Parula, Yellow-throated, and Hooded =
warblers. Nancy Madden reported a Worm-eating Warbler in Ansley in =
southern Hancock County.
***** Harrison County ********
Jan Dubuisson reported a pair of White-winged Doves near Gulfport =
Memorial Hospital. She noted that the pair was exhibiting courtship =
behavior.
***** Jackson County *********
Saturday, large numbers of Prothonotary Warblers and a couple of =
Worm-eating warblers were the highlights of an Audubon field trip to the =
Chevron facilities in Jackson County. Participating in the field trip =
was an Ornithology class from the Alabama School of Math and Science =
under the instruction of Barry mcPhail.
***** Yazoo County **********
Barbara and Roger McGrath reported a pair of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds =
coming to their feeders since Wednesday the 24th.
***** Lafeyette County ******
Marvin Davis reports up to 42 American Golden Plovers at a turf farm 6 =
mi. south of oxford. They were feeding in the bare, recently harvested =
areas.=20
