Two possible EARED GREBES were seen at Hidden Lake today. The
reporter is not sure, so if anyone else is able to confirm
this sighting, it would be appreciated. There were also 2

SPARROWS.

At Rice Lake, also today, there were 8 LESSER SCAUP, 3 pairs

At Greene Valley, on Tuesday, more than 8 WOODCOCKS were seen
starting at about 100 yards in on the entrance road from 79th

for the Youth Camp and Trail-head on your right. Turn left.
Follow the road to the parking lot. (R-7)

Hidden Lake Forest Preserve is located north of Lisle just
south of the intersection of Route 56 and Route 53. It is on
the east side of Route 53. To get to the location to view
