One YELLOW-BILLED LOON was reported from Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City on
Monday, Mar 22. This loon has been present for several months and is now
changing into breeding plumage.
One CINNAMON TEAL was reported on Wednesday, Mar 24, from the Leonard
sod farms in far southeastern Tulsa County. The teal was seen in a
slough on the south side of 161st Street South, approximately 1-1/2
miles east of the Leonard school. The school is at the intersection of
161st Street South and 161st [E. 161st Ave. South]. The teal may also be
seen from North-South Road 406.5 approximately 1 mile north of State Hwy
64.
One SANDHILL CRANE was reported from south Tulsa County on Wednesday,
Mar 24. The crane was seen near the intersection of South Sheridan Road
and 121st Street South. It has been present in this location for at
least a week.
The LEWIS' WOODPECKER, which has been present for several months in
rural Rogers County northeast of the town of Collinsville, was reported
on Tuesday, Mar 23. If interested in looking for the woodpecker, contact

One female PYRRHULOXIA has been coming to the feeders of Kakthleen Lyons
in the Oklahoma City area. The last date reported to us was Monday, Mar
