Welcome to an update of the Nebraska Birdline, sponsored by the Audubon
Society of Omaha , for Friday, March 19th.

In central Nebraska in Kearney County, the COMMON CRANE was spotted again
today at 9 am northeast of the intersection of County Roads W and 39.
Take the I-80 Exit 285 and go south about 2 miles to the Elm Island Rd.
Go east on Elm Island Rd. to the T-intersection and go south to W Rd.
For updates on the Common Crane, call the Audubon Rowe Sanctuary at 308
468-5282. Please report any sightings of the Common Crane to the
Birdline.

In eastern Nebraska in Dodge County on the 18th, a GREATER YELLOWLEGS was
seen on a farm pond 7 miles north of Ames.

In Lancaster county on the 18th, a HORNED GREBE was seen at Oak Lake Park
in Lincoln.

In Seward County on the 14th, a COMMON LOON was seen at Twin Lakes SWMA
near Pleasant Dale.
