__THESE BIRDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED FROM SEVERAL LOCATIONS_______

FOX SPARROWS, RING-NECKED DUCK, SHOVELERS, BUFFLEHEAD,
GOLDENEYE, COMMON MERGANSERS and LESSER SCAUP.

__DUPAGE COUNTY_______________________________________________

The TOWNSENDS SOLITAIRE, or at least A Townsend's Solitaire,
showed up again at the Arboretum on Saturday and Sunday. On
Saturday, it was seen on the south side of Meadow Lake, in
evergreens on the peninsula. On Sunday, it was seen near
where it was originally found...in the clearing along the
south leg of Illinois Trees Trail loop 2, just past the sign
"Legume Family".

Among the other ducks at Rice Lake on Saturday, there were 4
male RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS. On Thursday, there were 6
CANVASBACK, 2 REDHEADS, GREATER SCAUP, 2 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 2
RED BREASTED MERGANSERS, and a RUDDY DUCK.

A MOCKINGBIRD was seen in a yard in Naperville on Friday.

__KANE COUNTY_________________________________________________

RUSTY BLACKBIRDS were seen in Batavia on Tuesday.

__WILL COUNTY_________________________________________________

At Lakeland Subdivision, there were OVER 100 REDHEADS and
COOTS, about 10 CANVASBACKS, and 1 HORNED GREBE.

__FERMILAB____________________________________________________

A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen near the Red Barn on Sunday.

__DIRECTIONS__________________________________________________

The map coordinates given after each location correspond to
the Chicago Tribune Chicagoland Map:

To get to Rice Lake, head east from the intersection of
Naperville Road and Route 56 in Wheaton. This is the location
of the Danada Shopping Center. You will see the lake on the
south side of Route 56. (P-7)

To get to the Lakeland subdivision, take Naperville-Plainfield
Road south from 127th St. Turn east at the first entrance
south of 127th St.

To get to the Red Barn, enter Fermilab from the west side Pine
Street gate and continue for 3.3 miles until you come to the
stop sign at Sauk Avenue. Turn right. The Red Barn is
straight ahead.
